Celebrating our 30th anniversary of continuous Pack activity and support!
OCBC has been home to Cub Scout Pack 578 since 1994 with countless Cub Scouts bridging to the Boy Scouts. The journey through Cub Scouts in our Pack is full of adventures, experiences, and learning that helps to build wonderful memories, life skills, and friendships along the way!
When we meet and where
Founded in 1994, Pack 578 is chartered by the Orange County Buddhist Church in Anaheim, California.
We meet on the first and third Friday’s of each month during each academic calendar year.
Pack meetings are usually at Orange County Buddhist Church’s gymnasium at 909 South Dale Avenue in Anaheim, California
Looking for Adventures?
Every year, Cub Scout Pack 578 hosts many events and provides public service to the community. Events include the Pinewood Derby, Summer Picnic, Pack Bowling Night, Trunk-O-Treat, the Scouting Crossover Camping event, the Holiday Party, hiking trails, Blue & Gold Dinner, and the Pack Game Night. Public service and volunteering in the community have included popcorn sales fundraisers for Orange County Council, the Ho-Onko Luncheon Fundraiser, volunteering and support for OCBC’s Hanamatsuri Festival and Obon Festivals, support for the Scouting for Food Drive, and pack recycling.
